Bethlehem Support Housing:Helping people to help themselves
Bethlehem Projects helps people facing issues of poverty, abuse and family breakdown to rebuild their lives. It is the only organization in the Niagara Region that offers supportive and transitional housing for women, men and families.
Through individual counselling, support groups and lifeskills seminars, people learn to become more self-sufficient.
Individual Counselling:Residents meet weekly with their Support Counsellors. Primary areas of focus include:
Relationships Addictions Personal Issues Budgeting Social Activities Education/Employment Household Management Parenting

Crisis Prevention/ Intervention:There are 3 full-time Support Counsellors who provide 24-hour backup availability to residents in the event of a crisis.
Goal Planning:Upon entering Bethlehem Place residents are required to commit to goal planning. Goals are reviewed at various intervals during a person's stay.
